3. Reserve Your Portrait Experience.
Selected participants will reserve a July or August portrait session with a $175 booking fee, which includes a $100 donation to Youth Crossroads.
4. Celebrate Your People.
Enjoy a meaningful portrait experience designed to celebrate the people who make life feel like home.
5. Choose What You Love.
After your session, you’ll return for a private viewing and ordering appointment to choose your favorite portraits and artwork for your home.
6. Optional Exhibit Opportunity.
Participating groups may choose to have one portrait considered for the Simply Us Fall Exhibit, opening November 7, 2026, in Brookfield, Illinois.
Being considered for the exhibit is optional, and there is no minimum purchase required.

About the Artist
Mariely Martinez is a Berwyn-based portrait photographer and the owner of Mariely Martinez Photography, serving the Chicago area and suburbs. With 16 years of photography experience, Mariely creates meaningful portrait experiences that celebrate connection, belonging and the relationships that shape our lives. As a mother of four, she especially loves photographing families and capturing the genuine bonds and expressions that reveal each person’s essence. Her work is rooted in helping clients feel loved, valued, confident and connected through heirloom photographic artwork for their homes. Mariely is honored to partner with Youth Cross Roads because she believes deeply in the importance of mental health support, community connection and safe spaces where children and teens can feel seen and supported.
